My name is malena.
Writing has been a passion of mine since the day I started jotting down thoughts in my glittery pink “princess” journal as a kid. What started as a personal outlet has developed into a career that I absolutely love. I’m passionate about taking the task, voice, project at hand and arranging the alphabet to create something f***ing awesome. I love telling stories and I love a challenge. So, as long as I’m writing, I’m not picky about the topic. However, a few of my favorite things to write about are beer, travel, and the outdoors.

When I’m not writing, I enjoy spending my time outdoors.
I love trail running, checking out local craft breweries, and camping. Cracking a cold beer after a long run, sleeping under the stars, and the crunch of my shoes on a trail are all things that bring me pure happiness. I also enjoy playing simple tunes on the ukulele, experimenting with watercolor paints, bouldering, and taking photos.
